When presented with an evening off work, I decided to take myself and my drone for a little trip at the top of Cleeve Hill near Cheltenham. It’s an area I’ve seen for a distances every time I’ve worked at Cheltenham Racecourse.
The sun was setting and I’d exhausted the battery on my drone. I’d not taken my DSLR, but had my iPhone on me. From a distance at the Common I could see this tree and some people near by. I rushed closer, but not too close that I would loss the effect of space and scale around the tree and within the sunset.
